WICKED SMOKEHOUSE “GHOST KITCHEN”
A ghost kitchen, also known as a virtual brand, is a restaurant brand set up for delivery and takeout only. Unlike traditional restaurants, ghost kitchens don’t offer dine-in service. Wicked Smokehouse is using Hook & Cleaver’s existing brick-and-mortar kitchen to create its food.
WHY ADD A “VIRTUAL BRAND”
Restaurants with an existing brick-and-mortar location may launch a virtual restaurant at that location to invest in new concepts, while taking advantage of their existing ingredients, space, and staff.
After years of catering smoky goodness for weddings and events, we decided it was time to turn up the heat. When we purchased Nature’s Connection Wedding & Events Venue in Arlington, we invested in a large commercial smoker—and once we tasted Chef Andy’s BBQ, we knew it couldn’t be limited to special occasions.
With the opening of Hook & Cleaver, the newest member of the LRG Family, we finally had the perfect home for our smoker—and the perfect excuse to share our BBQ with everyone, every day.
